[April 24, 2008]SPRINGFIELD -- Lincoln graduate
Christine Presswood, a 5-foot-7 point guard at Lincoln Land
Community College, has signed with Southern Illinois University.
Presswood was an all-region selection as well as an all-region
tournament selection in 2007-08. In 2006-07, she led her team to the
NJCAA-DII national tournament by hitting a 3 at the buzzer in the
regional title game. She went on to earn all-national tourney
honors.
Also recently signing for Lincoln Land was sophomore Eunice Gill,
who signed with Limestone.
