[April 30, 2008]  "Simply Sinatra -- A Tribute," starring Steve Lippa and his big band, is the last community concert of the 2007-2008 series.

Relive your favorite songs! "New York, New York," "The Summer Wind," "Come Rain or Come Shine," "I've Got the World on a String," "You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You," "The Lady Is a Tramp," and "Night and Day" -- all these wonderful tunes will come to life in the style and sound of Frank Sinatra when this fabulous tribute show comes to town on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Christian College auditorium.

Steve Lippa is a singer's singer. His show is a rich, powerful celebration of some of the greatest music this country has known -- "Simply Sinatra!" With a hot, driving band behind him, Lippa moves from crisp swing tunes to lush, poignant ballads. His sound and style is reminiscent of the younger Frank Sinatra. Don't miss the "Chairman of the Board."

Information for the 2008-2009 concert series is now available. For information on the new series, contact Judy Awe, 123 Crestwood Drive, Lincoln, IL 62656; phone 217-732-4758.
