ShoeSource closed!
As of this morning the Payless store in Heritage Plaza is officially closed. At the time of this posting, there was no word from the corporate management available explaining their decision. A Payless location in Richmond, Ind., recently closed with no comment forthcoming from company officials on that closure. Payless is a unit of the Topeka, Kan.,-based Collective Brands.

Power outage
A generalized power outage on Lincoln's west side was reported at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Ameren said that 3,253 were without power initially. At 12:04 p.m. Ameren reported that all but a handful of users had their power restored. Company officials have not explained the reason for the outage. -
