50th anniversary:

Richard and Rogene Heisler

[August 13, 2008] Richard and Rogene Heisler, of Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 23. Richard married Rogene Mulch on Aug. 23, 1958, at the Catholic church in Carthage.

They have resided in the Warsaw area for the past 30 years and previously lived at Plymouth, Colchester and Atlanta.

Richard has been a teacher, coach, superintendent and farmer. Rogene has been a teacher, as well as a busy homemaker. Together they have been very active in the Episcopal church.

Their children are Cindy (and Terry) Pruitt of Homer, Julie (and Rex) Massey of Dyersville, Iowa, and Valerie (and Trent) Fink of Warsaw. They have seven grandchildren: Lucas, Joel and Brent Pruitt of Homer; Ally, Tyson and Regan Massey of Dyersville, Iowa; and Kasey Fink of Warsaw.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with their children and grandchildren with a trip to their winter home in Pharr, Texas.
