The
city of Lincoln was christened again in a
ceremony Wednesday afternoon as part of a continuing series of events leading up to
the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial celebration in February. Pictured
from left to right: Daris Knauer as Robert Latham, Casey Ballinger as
Virgil Hickox, Greg Bergschneider as Lincoln, Robert Presswood as
John D. Gillett and David Biggs as the young John Stevens. A new sign
explaining the event for residents and travelers is now in place on
the grounds of the Lincoln Depot.
