Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[December 04, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery lost 8.75 cents to $5.1975 a bushel; March corn was flat at $3.4825 a bushel; March oats fell 1 cent to $2.21 a bushel; and January soybeans rose 3 cents to $8.30 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle lost 0.88 cent to 84.07 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.65 cent to 88.35 cents a pound; February lean hogs slid 1.1 cents to 64.37 cents a pound; and February pork bellies lost 0.12 cent to 92 cents a pound.
