New CFO
at Christian Homes

Susan McGhee has been named as
vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Christian
Homes.
McGhee has public accounting experience serving health care and
long-term care clients, and in various corporate office accounting
positions for two large, multisite companies that provide long-term
care. |
She earned an MBA and a master’s degree in health administration
from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan. She also has her CPA
certification and nursing home administrator’s license in Kansas.
"Susan is uniquely qualified to assume the role of CFO at Christian
Homes," noted Christian Homes President Tim Phillippe. "Since
joining Christian Homes two years ago, Susan has served very ably
and gained an in-depth knowledge of our ministry.
"This includes working on complex finance projects, such as
refinancing CHI’s tax-exempt debt, an acquisition, two HUD
financings and the construction of two supportive living
facilities."
Christian Homes, headquartered in Lincoln, has been a leader in
Christ-centered services to senior adults since 1962. The company
employs a staff of 2,400 and provides independent and assisted
living, rehabilitation therapy, dementia care, and skilled nursing
care to more than 2,500 older adults at 14 senior living communities
in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Missouri.
