A panel outside the agency made the selection. "Brandy exemplifies
the promise of Community Action," said Mel Urbanowicz, senior
programs assistant. "She cares about her customers and provides them
with the highest level of service that helps improve the quality of
their lives. She is knowledgeable of the programs available
throughout our agency and makes sure that they are signed up for any
services they need.
"Brandy is a very responsible person, and I know she meets all
challenges head-on and develops a plan. She was very instrumental,
with the assistance of an elder abuse investigator and in securing a
guardian for one of our seniors."
Long was presented with a plaque and a $250 gift card by Angela
Stoltzenburg, executive director, and Steve Lobb, governing board
president.
