[December 19, 2008]  HOMESTEAD, Pa. (AP) -- Police said a man repeatedly called in bomb threats to a Pittsburgh-area high school so his girlfriend would get out of class early.

HardwareChristopher Wiley, 19, of Duquesne, has been sentenced to the time he has served in the Allegheny County Jail since May for the threats to Steel Valley High School in Homestead.

Wiley was sentenced after pleading guilty Wednesday to risking a catastrophe and other charges.

Police said the school was evacuated at least 13 times between May 15 and 22 because of Wiley's prank calls. No explosives were ever found.

Wiley acknowledged making the calls, but says he did so less than 10 times.
