Agriculture Futures Trade Higher on CBOT

[February 09, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 30 cents to $10.93 a bushel; March corn gained 8.5 cents to $5.08 a bushel; March oats added 9.25 cents to $3.50 a bushel; March soybeans climbed 7.5 cents to $13.39 a bushel.

Beef futures fell and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 0.47 cent to 92.20 cents a pound; March feeder cattle lost 0.83 cent to $1.0502 a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.48 cent to 58.07 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.75 cents to 97.90 cents a pound.
