[February 19, 2008]  SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- A Kewaskum man could face multiple criminal charges after authorities said he caused two alcohol-related crashes in three minutes. The crashes occurred about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the Town of Lyndon, said Lt. Mark Rupnik of the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department.

The 43-year-old man first ran a stop sign while turning onto a highway and struck a pickup truck, Rupnik said.

Three minutes later he was turning onto another highway when he hit a sport utility vehicle, the sheriff's department said. This time the man was stopped and arrested by responding officers.

The other two drivers each suffered minor injuries, and one was taken to a hospital.

The man could face criminal charges including operating while intoxicated and hit-and-run, authorities said.
