[February 22, 2008]  In the midst of frigid temperatures, music warms the heart. The Lincoln College Music Department will help soothe the soul and warm the heart at a concert scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Johnston Center for Performing Arts.

Lincoln College vocal music instructor Eddie Vandewalker says the show will highlight a variety of music numbers. "Our show starts with the Jazz Choir and will lead into our show choir, Express. I am very proud of our students and feel all groups have superior performances planned for those who attend," said Vandewalker.

Songs that will be heard include "Portrait in Blue," "Blue Moon," "Blue Suede Shoes," "United by the Red, White and Blue," and "The Colors of America."

There is no admission charge.
