Lincoln Streets Superintendent Calls for Citizen Cooperation in Parking Tonight and Tomorrow

Send a link to a friend

[January 31, 2008]  With 6 to 10 inches of snow being forecast for the Lincoln area, starting Thursday afternoon and ending Friday afternoon, the Lincoln Street Department asks everyone to park off the street if possible -- the boulevard streets especially.

Based on the forecast as of 8 a.m. Thursday, the snowplows will start their routes at midnight. There may already be 3 inches or more on the ground by then.

We ask everyone who has to be out to drive safely. If you don't have to be out, please stay home and off the streets.
