Lincoln Daily News keeps on growing

[June 09, 2008]  We’re keep working harder to add more local news, local features, and local editorials of interest to our readers since more than 10,000 of you are reading us each day.

It is our desire to report more news not only from Lincoln, but also from the other cities, towns and villages in Logan County and the region.

In order to make this happen, we are adding staff and changing hats. The biggest change is that our managing editor is promoting herself to Editor-in-Chief to get more time to write the challenging articles about city and country government, and to manage the big picture.

We are filling the managing editor position she leaves open with a local guy with a lot of personality. Perhaps you know him. His name is MIKE FAK.

Fak has been writing local news and local editorial for years for both Lincoln Daily News and the other paper. In addition to being the author of 2 books, he’s been the personality behind the weekly tv show The “Fak’s Machine” and the radio show “Open Mike” on Lincoln Country 96.3.
