County Clerk's Office Getting Comcast Complaint Calls

County Number Added to New Bills

[March 01, 2008]  The county clerk's office does not want to hear complaints about Comcast service or bills, but they are getting calls. Somehow, the county clerk's office phone number is on the local Comcast bill as a contact, and the office is receiving complaint calls.

"Although our office would love to help resolve complaints, this is not the correct office, nor the correct phone number to lodge complaints about a Comcast bill," Litterly said. Logan County government does not govern or negotiate Lincoln cable services. The Comcast company was in error in placing this number on their bill.

If you have questions about your Comcast service or bill, it is advised that you call Comcast at 217-735-3448, not the county clerk's office at 732-4148.

Comcast took over local cable services from Insight this past month.
