Monday was Hobbies and Careers Day, with 30 different classes and
workshops available to the students, including folk art, rubber
stamping, cartooning, tie dye, producing a TV show, Spanish, French,
veterinarian assistant, weaving, building birdhouses, weatherman,
airbrush painting, watercolors, scouting, banking, agriculture,
sales, candy making, calligraphy, coin collecting, fishing, creative
memories, beekeeping, signs of nature, hog farming, hair bow making,
painting with acrylics and woodworking.
The student body enjoyed a special presentation by Karen Deal,
conductor of the Illinois Symphony. Pictured are winners of the ZLS
waltz contest, Katrina Green and Zack Prather, along with Ms. Deal.
