Lincoln/Logan County Chamber Ambassadors joined Bud Alexander, owner and operator of Little Smokehouse on the Prairie, for a ribbon-cut today at 1102 Keokuk St. Alexander is famous for his prize-winning smoked Memphis-style pulled pork sandwiches, pulled pork horseshoes with prairie pork fries, tenderloins, brats and Polish sausage smothered with sauteed onions, curly fries, and nachos. For the sweet tooth, he offers fried Oreos, funnel cakes and sliced caramel apples. Beverages include lemonade shakeups, soft drinks and bottled water. The portable food concession stand is located at the intersection of Route 121 and Route 10 in Lincoln, on the customer lot for Sign Design, Comcast and Illinois American Water.
