Agriculture trades mixed on CBOT; livestock mixed

[May 29, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery traded flat at $7.59 a bushel; July corn fell 5.5 cents to $5.925 a bushel; July oats lost 4 cents to $3.90 a bushel; July soybeans rose 25 cents to $13.7275 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.02 cent to 96.72 cents a pound; August cattle added 0.55 cent to $1.158 a pound; June lean hogs slipped 0.2 cent to 76.75 cents a pound; July pork bellies fell 1.45 cents to 73.2 cents a pound.
