[May 29, 2008]The Logan County Emergency
Management Agency is preparing for the possibility of severe storms
on Friday. The National Weather Service issued an outlook forecast
that indicates lines of severe storms could develop by Friday
afternoon in western Illinois, spreading toward east-central and
southeast Illinois by evening. The primary threats will be damaging
