6:20pm -- One tornado warning expired, Tornado Watch still in effect Emergency Management Agency is reporting minor damages and minor debris from this evenings storm that passed through Logan County over the 5 O’clock hour this evening. The storm had 40-45 mph, downed a few power lines and some scatter areas without power. Another storm with stronger winds of 45 – 60 mph, is due into the area shortly. Report time: 6:15. Now..... Tornado Watch 394 in effect until 10 PM CDT this evening... Several severe storms will track along a line from Winchester through Springfield and Lincoln...then toward Champaign. Tornadoes will be possible with these storms...along with large hail and damaging winds. Also expect frequent dangerous lightning and torrential rainfall. Storm motion is east-northeast at 35 mph. Pay close attention to weather developments this evening. |
