Ag futures trade higher on Chicago Board of Trade

[November 04, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were higher in midday trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for December delivery rose 20.75 cents to $5.570 a bushel; December corn gained 2.75 cents to $4.0425 a bushel; December oats added 5.75 cents to $2.3725 a bushel; and November soybeans rose 8.75 cents to $9.340 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle gained 0.75 cent to 93.45 cents a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.98 cent to 99.60 cents a pound; December lean hogs were unchanged at 54.80 cents a pound; and February pork bellies rose 0.23 cent to 85 cents a pound.
