Agriculture futures trade mixed on CBOT

[November 07, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 14.75 cents to $5.225 a bushel; December corn lost 12.25 cents to $3.78 a bushel; December oats were flat at $2.38 a bushel; and November soybeans rose 4.75 cents to $8.995 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were also mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.97 cent to 93.3 cents a pound; October feeder cattle lost 1.78 cents to 98.87 cents a pound; October lean hogs gained 0.35 cent to 54.82 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were unchanged at 83.8 cents a pound.
