With the rise in storm devastation across the country, there is a
new trend of visitors flocking to those areas hit hardest to see the
aftereffects firsthand. Logan County, also home to the National
Weather Service office for central Illinois, is no stranger to
weather-related disasters. Elkhart itself has been hit with a
tornado in the recent past. Bringing in educators is a great service
to the area, countywide.
This event is being sponsored by the Elkhart Public Library with
some help from the Logan County ESDA/EMS. For more information,
contact the library at 217-947-2313.
