fit while having fun. The two programs are Hip Hop Dance, on
Tuesdays from 5:30-6:15 p.m., and Turbo Jam Exercise Fun, on
Thursdays from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Both run in four-week sessions
beginning in September at the Y Activity Center, 719 Wyatt Ave. Y
member and nonmember rates are offered for each of these programs as
well as a discount for registering for both programs. Call the Y
office for more information.
Registrations are still being accepted for the Y Biddy
Basketball program. This program is designed to teach
4-year-olds to kindergarten children the skills necessary to play
basketball, while having a great time. Register before Oct. 6 to
avoid a $10 fee increase.
The YMCA Paintball program for youth began recently at the
Y Activity Center. Participants who are 11-15 years old can register
now for paintball fun with targets. Sessions are on Saturdays, from
9 to 11 a.m., through December. Space is limited to only eight
