We try to respond to most e-mails submitted
that we receive locally and advise the sender we received their
valuable information. There are some instances when we might not
respond, such as when by the time you would get the response it has
probably already been posted. Your thank-yous to our replies are
always appreciated but really not necessary.
We appreciate your sharing your information that we get from all
of you, and if anything, we would like to thank all of you for
taking a moment to tell our 9,000 readers per issue what is
happening in your church, organization, business or civic club, or
perhaps in your own lives. There is so much going on in this active
community that we have to depend on all of you to get pertinent
information to us. We are continuing to grow, but we can't be
everywhere every day, and that is why your volunteering to act as a
messenger of your organization's good news is so important. |
Although we have greatly expanded staff, coverage and content in LDN
this year, we never sit back and spend time patting ourselves on the
back. We have too many ideas to rest easy for even a moment on how
we can continue to increase this publication's content.
Now, there is one thing all of you can do for us, and as always
it won't cost you a penny, let alone three quarters. During October
readership month, we ask all of you to tell at least one friend
about what they are missing by not reading LDN. Of course if you
have an e-mail buddies list, we surely won't stop you from reminding
everyone you know that Lincoln Daily News is here for them as well
as for you.
That's it; that's all we ask for in return for continuing to post
all your timely and pertinent information.
Remember, our success is your success. Without all of you, we
wouldn't be where we are today. So take that option: Phone a friend
or e-mail them and tell them Lincoln Daily News has all the room in
the world for everyone's news.
