NY now offers concierge for Broadway tickets

[September 19, 2008]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Buying tickets for that coveted Broadway or Off-Broadway show just got easier with the opening of a concierge and information center in Times Square.

The Broadway League is making the announcement Thursday with the help of Bebe Neuwirth and Tom Wopat.

It's billed as "the only place in New York where you can get tickets to just about every Broadway and many Off-Broadway shows -- all under one roof."

Information is available in six languages. The concierge service can help with same day and advance purchases for regular and premium priced tickets; restaurant, hotel and car service reservations; parking information; and free neighborhood maps.

The center is open seven days a week.
