Jeffrey Ross kicked off 'Dancing with the Stars'

[September 24, 2008]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Jeffrey Ross didn't get a second chance to quick step on "Dancing with the Stars."

The comedian and his professional partner Edyta Sliwinska were the first couple eliminated Tuesday from the seventh season of ABC's dancing competition.

The pair received a score of 14 from the show's judges Monday following their cha cha cha routine. Ross was sent packing after that score was combined with viewers' votes.

The remaining celebrities include chef Rocco DiSpirito; NFL star Warren Sapp; TV personalities Brooke Burke and Kim Kardashian; singers Lance Bass and Toni Braxton; athletes Misty May-Treanor and Maurice Greene; and actors Cloris Leachman, Cody Linley, Susan Lucci and Ted McGinley. Another star will be eliminated Wednesday.
