[April 13, 2009]  The following recalls were issued by various federal and state agencies during the week ending April 11: 

COFFEEMAKERS SOLD AT WALGREENS 

Atico International USA is recalling Signature Gourmet™ 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemakers and Kitchen Gourmet® 10-Cup Coffeemakers sold exclusively at Walgreens stores nationwide from June 2004 to March 2009. These coffeemakers can ignite due to an electrical failure, posing a fire hazard.

The name of the coffeemaker is printed on the front of the unit. The model number and the item number are printed on a sticker located on the bottom of the unit.

SNOWMOBILES 

Polaris Industries Inc. is recalling Polaris Snowmobiles sold nationwide from September 2006 to March 2009. The fuel lines on the snowmobiles can make contact with one another, which could result in a fuel leak. This can pose a fire hazard. 

This recall involves model year 2007, 2008 and 2009 Polaris snowmobiles with Clean Fire Injection (CFI) and a left-hand pump flange assembly. The model and serial number identification decal is located on the right side of the tunnel below the seat. The recalled model names and numbers are listed at www.recalls.org

STUD SENSORS 

Stanley and Solarwide Industrial are recalling Stanley® Stud Sensors 200 and Stanley® FatMax® Stud Sensors 400 sold nationwide from November 2007 to January 2009. The stud sensor can fail to calibrate properly and detect AC electrical wires behind the wall, posing a shock hazard. 

The recalled stud sensor models include the Stanley® Stud Sensor 200 and Stanley® FatMax® Stud Sensor 400 with model numbers 77-720 and 77-730. The model number is located in a slide-out reference guide found in the base of the sensor's handle. A date code is printed on the inside of the battery cover. Affected sensors have date codes that do not begin with the letter "R."

HEALTHTEX PACIFIERS 

Healthtex is recalling Zoo Pacifiers sold nationwide from December 2002 to March 2009. The pacifiers failed to meet federal safety standards. The nipples can separate from the base easily, posing a choking hazard. 

This recall involves Zoo pacifiers with animal cartoon figures as handles. "Made in Spain" is printed on the handle side of the mouth guard and "Mi Tosoro" is printed on the cardboard packaging.

PLAY YARDS 

Simplicity Inc. is recalling Travel Tender Play Yards sold nationwide at Burlington Coat Factory stores, on-line at Babiersrus.com, Target.com and Kohls.com from March 2005 to January 2009. One or more rails can collapse unexpectedly, posing a fall or entrapment hazard. 

The recalled play yards are portable and were sold with a bassinet, changing table and mobile features. The play yards bear the "Simplicity" logo. The model numbers are 5500DRM, 5500WDS, 5501FEL, 5502MON, 5520PRO, 5550HAN, 5700MAN, and 5750MIR. The model number is located on a sticker on one of the legs underneath the play yard. 

Consumers should return the play yards to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement product.

SECURITY SYSTEM CONTROL PANELS 

Honeywell International Inc. is recalling "Vista Residential" Security System Control Panels sold nationwide from October 2007 to January 2009. Security systems programmed with a wireless silent panic feature can fail to operate properly the first time the panic button is pressed on the remote transmitter. If the panic button is pressed only once, this can unexpectedly leave residents without a triggered alarm during an emergency. 

This recall involves the following models of the "Vista Residential" series control panels: Vista-21iP, Vista-21iPSIA, FA168C-GP, 320P1, GAV20P, Vista 15P, and Vist-20pSIA. Only panels with certain date codes are subject to the recall. 

Honeywell International is contacting dealers directly and is providing free replacement software to consumers.

GE GAS RANGES 

GE Consumer & Industrial is recalling GE Profile™ Freestanding Dual Fuel Ranges sold nationwide from June 2002 to December 2005. The wiring in the rear of the range can overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard. 

This recall involves GE Profile 30" Freestanding Duel Fuel ranges. The ranges were sold in white, black, bisque and stainless steel. The following model and serial numbers can be found on the left inside corner of the bottom drawer.

CHILDREN'S SHOES 

Buster Brown & Co. is recalling CARS Fleece Clog Children's Shoes sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide from September 2008 to March 2009. The shoe has four decorative wheels that can detach, posing a choking hazard. 

This recall involves the Buster Brown & Co. "CARS" fleece clog children's shoes. The shoe is a red plastic molded clog with fleece lining and is designed to resemble a car. "Buster Brown & Co." and "Disney" are printed on a tag sewn inside the shoe. 

Customers return the shoes to the nearest Wal-Mart store for a full refund.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is recalling Women's Shoes sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide from June 2008 to December 2008. Heels on the shoes can easily detach, posing a fall hazard. 

This recall involves women's sling-back, pointed-toe shoes sold under the George brand. The shoes were sold in three colors, black, gray and purple, and in sizes 5 ½ to 11. 

Consumers should return the shoes to the nearest Wal-Mart for a full refund.

PATIO CHAIRS 

Ross Stores Inc. is recalling Folding Patio Chairs sold exclusively at Ross Stores nationwide in February 2009. The side supports on these chairs can splinter when weight is placed on them, posing a fall hazard 

The folding wooden patio chairs are made of eucalyptus. SKU 400037791757 and manufacturer style number KTOC-1638-ROS are printed on a hangtag attached to the chair. 

Consumers should return the chairs to any Ross Store for a full refund.
