The Oasis,
Logan County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is
open weekdays, except holidays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center
also is open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic
Dalpoas is the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan
County senior citizens, regardless of membership. Friends of The
Oasis members receive a bimonthly newsletter by mail and reduced

Bingo sponsored by St. Clara's Manor St Clara's Manor will
sponsor bingo games at The Oasis on Thursday, April 23, beginning at
1 p.m.
Bunco
Bunco games at the senior center will be on Monday, April 27,
beginning at 1 p.m. Refreshments will be available, sponsored by
Marilyn Armbrust of Regions Bank.
Tuesday's lunch
The 11:30 a.m. lunch for April 28 features pork steak, cheesy
potatoes, pea salad, bread and butter, and dessert for a suggested
donation of $3.75. If you stay to play cards, the cost is $3.25. The
reservation deadline is noon Monday.
Card winners
The winners for weekday pinochle were Joyce Voyles and Larry Van
Bibber. The weekend pinochle winners were Linda Hughes and Helen
Opperman. The five-in-one winner was Ruth Barry.

Spring card party winners
At the spring card party, the pinochle winners were Vera Vurth
with 5,230, Kathy Roos with 5,180 and Helen Opperman with 5,110. The
bridge winners were Cynthia Klink, first; Carol Bock, second; and
Evelyn Jenkins, low. The rummy winners were Pat Sabastian, first;
Ruth Barry, second; and Linda Hughes, third.
