Currently the coordinator of the sterile processing department, she
has worked in other departments during her time at ALMH, including
physical therapy and materials management. She started her career in
admitting, working the switchboard and in insurance, when she was 21
years old.
"The closeness of the people here is what I've enjoyed the most.
We're family," she says. "That's exactly why I've stayed here. It's
such a wonderful place to work. I don't think my car could go
anyplace else."
She has worked in sterile processing for nearly 20 years. Her
department is responsible for all the disinfection and sterilization
of patient instruments and equipment.
During her time at ALMH, she has had seven bosses and worked
under four administrators.
