	 Sunday
afternoon, Aug. 16, dancers from all across the state will be coming
to the Lincoln Park District ballroom to attend a special
Western-style square dance. This will be the third annual fundraiser
for the Linpro Dance Club. Dances will be called by Dale
McRoberts and Ron Betzelberger, both of Lincoln. Many door prizes
provided by area businesses will be given away. The Linpro dancers meet regularly on the first and third Saturday
nights to dance at the Lincoln Park District, and they provide
classes for square dancing and round dancing (ballroom) throughout
			the year.

	 Hardee's
restaurants are cooking up a taste of the American summer spirit and
serving it to residents and local charities in five Midwestern and
Southern states in a multi-store hometown tour. The Hardee's "Making
it Happen" tour will visit 66 Hardee's restaurants in Illinois,
Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee from Aug. 10 to 17 and
donate money to hometown charity groups, organizations and
individuals. Hardee's guests at each tour stop will receive food
samplings and other fun-in-the-sun items. In Lincoln, residents are encouraged to come out and support
their local charity, Toys for Tots. The event will take place
on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 1 p.m. at Hardee's at 539 Woodlawn Road in
			Lincoln.
