There are obvious reasons to question your vehicle’s battery. A slow cranking sound or no sound at all coming from your engine while trying to start can be an indication that it’s time for a new battery.

Your battery can look good, but there is no way of knowing what the inside of your battery is doing. Your vehicle battery consists of some nasty stuff of metal plates, posts and acid. And we all know what acid does to metal, it eats thru it. A good name brand battery can last 4 to 5 years.

Battery testing is something you can’t really do yourself, so you need to take your vehicle to a service facility that has the proper test equipment.
