Speaking of Zion Lutheran, the public is invited to the annual drive-through live Nativity at Zion Lutheran School on Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Families from Zion Lutheran School will portray people involved in the biblical account of the Christmas story. Live animals and a wooden stable will add to the effect.

There is no admission fee, but guests are encouraged to bring food for the Lincoln/Logan Food Pantry. Zion Lutheran School is located at 1600 Woodlawn Road, across from Walmart.

Morgan Litterly has been named November Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School. Morgan is the daughter of Randy and Sally Litterly of Elkhart.

Morgan is a high honor roll student and a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Club and the yearbook staff. She was named Logan County Student-of-the-Month in September 2009.

Morgan played volleyball for four years, and during that time the Toppers won the state championship in 2007 and finished second in the state in 2009.

In the community, Morgan is a member of St. Patrick's youth group. She has participated in service trips to Ohio, South Carolina, Colorado and Tennessee through Catholic Heart Workcamp.

Morgan plans to attend a four-year university, followed by law school.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is co-sponsored by Johnson's Food Center of Mount Pulaski and Mount Pulaski Pharmacy. Monthly winners receive $100 savings bonds and are eligible to compete for the $1,000 Senior-of-the-Year award.
