[December 19, 2009]  Participants in the December School's Out Fun Days will enjoy many activities, including crafts, games, indoor gym play, snacks and more. Fun Days will be on Dec. 21, 22 and 23 and again on Dec. 28, 29 and 30. Sign up for all six and receive a $10 discount off your total Fun Days fees. Late fees are charged for registrations received after the regular deadline, which was Dec. 7.

Join the YMCA as we discover one of the greatest female artists of the 20th century. Georgia O'Keefe Art class, for participants in first through sixth grade, will be on Dec. 30 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Georgia O'Keefe is best known for her focus on flowers and the scenery around her. Registration deadline is Dec. 23, with a $3 late fee for any registrations received after that. Register now for this awesome art day.

YMCA Girls Basketball is an instructional program designed to introduce girls in first through sixth grade to the techniques and game of basketball. Practices are once a week and games are on Sundays. Registration fees will increase starting Dec. 24-30. Register today to join this exciting program.

Are you ready to get your game on? Join us for Hoop It Up every Thursday night from 7 to 8:30 for a quick game of pickup basketball. Games began on Dec. 10 and continue into the New Year. This program is for adults 18 years and older who enjoy playing basketball with friends. New teams are formed each week. The cost is $2 for Y members and $4 for nonmembers.

Nursing Homes

Give me a "Y"! Give me an "M"! Give me a "C"! Give me an "A"! What's that sound like? YMCA Cheerleading is back with more S-P-I-R-I-T than ever before. The new session starts Jan. 4 and is for girls 4 years old to 12th grade. Registration for this program must be completed a week prior to Jan. 4, so cartwheel, flip or just run here to sign up.
