[December 23, 2009]  DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Wash day became payday at an Ohio coin laundry that was visited by a mystery couple playing Santa by handing out $100 bills.

Employees at the Spin City Laundromat in Dayton said the man and women walked in Sunday, both dressed conservatively in black. Without saying anything, they gave eight customers and two workers $100 each, inside Christmas cards that read, "Happy holidays and many happy days to follow. Jesus loves you!"

Spin City employee Holly Dunlap said when some of the recipients realized what had happened, they hugged and thanked their benefactors as they were leaving. The man and woman said, "You're welcome" and "Merry Christmas!"

Dunlap says she and her co-worker didn't recognize the couple and don't know why they picked the laundromat.
