annual Logan County Ag Day Breakfast on March 18 at 7 a.m. at
Lincoln Christian University's Laughlin Center.
During the 11-year history of the chamber's Ag Day Breakfast,
$49,000 has been awarded in scholarships to area students. The
chamber's ag committee feels that the investment in these local
students is key to the future of agriculture in Logan County.
During the breakfast this year, the program will include an
informational ag update from hometown gal Katheryne Stoll Rehberg,
who is with ADM Corn Business Unit and product manager for
acidulants. Rehberg will discuss exciting advancements in
agriculture and how these advancements affect our local farmers and
economy. The event will also include the awarding of the ag
scholarships.
