Agriculture futures trade mostly lower on the CBOT

[February 05, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mostly lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 10.25 cents to $5.4225 a bushel; March corn slid 3.5 cents to $3.5825 a bushel; and March oats slipped 0.5 cent to $1.87 a bushel. March soybeans rose 3.5 cents to $9.495 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle shed 0.15 cent to 85.97 cents a pound; March feeder cattle dropped 0.35 cent to 94.25 cents a pound; February lean hogs lost 0.40 cent to 57.20 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slid 1 cent to 80.50 cents a pound.
