Anita King stands beside her re-creation of Abe Lincoln's home in Springfield. She built the model in honor of the bicentennial and tried to make the reproduction as close as possible to the original, including using the exact same paint colors as are on the 16th president's home. She has made over 50 dollhouses and owns another 100, plus she has a huge collection of dolls that she hopes to someday have on display for the entire community to enjoy. The miniature house is on display at Cape Landing Salon, located at the corner of Broadway and Kickapoo.
