Youth wrestling results

[January 05, 2009]  MATTOON -- The Lincoln Youth Wrestling team traveled to Mattoon on Sunday. Christian McDormand was the sole wrestler in the 11- and 12-year-old division for Lincoln and also brought home their only championship trophy.

In the 9- and 10-year-old division, Max Koning, Jarrett Poole and Austin Swarts all finished third in their brackets, while Jonathan Riddle placed fourth.

In the 7- and 8-year-old division, Trevor Bree picked up a victory and third-place finish.

Next Sunday the team will travel to Monticello.
