Agriculture futures fall on Chicago BOT

[January 13, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery sank 60 cents to $5.695 a bushel, while March corn shed 30 cents to $3.8075 a bushel. March oats tumbled 17 cents to $2.13 a bushel, and March soybeans dropped 70 cents to $9.66 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle dipped 0.20 cent to 82.90 cents a pound, but March feeder cattle added 0.65 cent to 93.32 cents a pound. February lean hogs slid 0.98 cent to 61.47 cents a pound, while February pork bellies gained 0.98 cent to 84.55 cents a pound.
