Agriculture futures mostly higher on Chicago BOT

[January 15, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mostly higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery climbed 3.5 cents to $5.7425 a bushel, while March corn rose 4 cents to $3.665 a bushel and March oats added 7 cents to $2.16 a bushel. March soybeans were unchanged at $9.715 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle shed 0.72 cent to 83.35 cents a pound, while March feeder cattle dipped 0.28 cent to 94.62 cents a pound. February lean hogs lost 1.53 cents to 59.92 cents a pound, but February pork bellies rose 0.05 cent to 85.05 cents a pound.
