[July 21, 2009]  The Logan County Emergency Management Agency will conduct a special test of the outdoor warning siren system for Lincoln, Atlanta, Mount Pulaski, Latham and Hartsburg today (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. This will allow the EMA to test newly installed radio systems.

Should severe weather be forecast, the test will be canceled and rescheduled to July 28 at 10 a.m.

Outdoor warning sirens are designed to alert citizens outside of buildings that an emergency situation exists and that they should go inside and listen to radio or TV for emergency instructions.
