On
March 6, the NH-M first-grade class surprised their teacher, Mrs. Sharol Bolton,
with a cake of appreciation. Mrs. Bolton had received notice and
a very nice certificate that she had been nominated for the
Golden Apple Award. The award goes to exceptional teachers in
Illinois. To be nominated is quite an important achievement. The
message conveyed from the class was that,
nomination or not, Mrs. Bolton was certainly the "apple" of
their eye!
