WMUR reported investigators believe the man and a friend broke into a home Saturday night. A driver passing by called police after hearing glass break. Police believe one of the suspects smashed a glass door, stuck his hand inside the window and turned the doorknob from the inside to get into the house.
When officers showed up, police said one suspect tried to run away before jumping into bitter-cold Northwood Lake. Investigators said he eventually agreed to let officers help him out of the water with the
inner tube.
Police charged the man with burglary and resisting arrest. They also arrested the other man, 19, at his parents' house. He faces one burglary charge.
