The St. John United Church of
Christ Youth Group held its eighth annual banquet to honor
our local veterans for their service. The evening included food and
music and a great deal of storytelling by some of the older
veterans.

These first three pictures show the crowd of
some 240 veterans and family members who attended the evening at the
American Legion post.
Members of each service stood while their song
was played by the Don Smith Band.
Many tables of attendees held hands during the
singing of "God Bless America."
