Lincoln College's
student-operated radio station, WLNX-FM 88.9, has added a new sports
show, "The Weekend Sports Hangover," to its weekly rotation. The
two-hour program, airing Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m., will cover the
latest news and highlights from the world of sports, including local
high school and college action as well as a recap of the most
exciting regional and national games.

Jordan Foss and Jon Oliver, both Lincoln College students, are
teaming up to host the show. The duo, who share a passion for
sports, are eager to share with local audiences their knowledge of
the game and talent for connecting with athletes. "We are very
excited about the addition of this show to our lineup of programs,"
said John Malone, WLNX-FM general manager and a member of the LC
faculty. "It is a perfect vehicle to highlight the amazing athletic
programs we have in central Illinois, while also showcasing the
talents of LC students, many of whom are interested in pursuing
careers in broadcast journalism."
