The Guzzardo family, staff and volunteers warmed a chilling, drizzly day with their generosity this

Thanksgiving. In all, 300 shut-ins, seniors and families who could use a little help got a meal fit for any table. The line of volunteer vehicles to help deliver the meals ran past the alley and onto McLean Street as within an hour everyone on the list had a meal delivered to their homes or apartments. In summing up the event, John Guzzardo said, "This is such a good community." We couldn't agree more, and we feel blessed to be able to document the day for our readers.
