A New Home for Christmas
The story takes place Christmas Eve at a home for orphaned and
abandoned children. Jessie and Morgan have lost both of their
parents and are wondering if they will ever feel peace, hope, or
love. Through the Word of God and a loving Caregiver, the girls
learn about a Father that will never leave them and always love
them. |

Lincoln Christian ChurchCookie Walk
Got a sweet tooth or know someone who
does? Harvest of Talents for World Hunger Christmas Cookie Walk
will be Saturday, December 5, 2009, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in
the Lincoln Christian Church Family Room. The church is located
in the heart of downtown Lincoln across from Lathem Park at 204
N. McLean St. All proceeds go to I.D.E.S. (International
Disaster Emergency Services) for world hunger.
Immanuel Lutheran Annual Cantata and Advent Devotional
Our
biggest event is our annual cantata. On December 6th at 7PM our
choir will present "Glorious Joy" here at Immanuel. Treats will be
served afterwards. All are welcome.
Also, we be offering brief midweek Advent devtional services on
December 2, 9 and 16 at 6:30 PM. These services will follow the
theme "Hope of the World" and will feature music, candles, a brief
message and artwork. They will be about twenty minutes long.
Lincoln Christian Church Christmas Dessert
“Repeat the Sounding Joy” Christmas program and Dessert Outreach will be
Fri., Dec. 11 and Sat., Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. and again Sun., Dec.13
at 2:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Christian Church Fellowship Center.
Please call the church office for free tickets at 732-7618. Also,
there will over 150 Nativities on display forty-five minutes prior
to the program and an hour after. Donations will be accepted for
Harvest of Talents for World Hunger. |
