ALMH Light Up A Life 2009

[November 25, 2009]  This is the 21st year of the Light Up A Life program at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. This is a celebration publicly paying tribute to those who are most dear to us, both those who have passed on and those who are still living. A suggested donation is $10 per name.

The lights on a special tree in front of ALMH will be turned on for the very first time on Tuesday at 6 p.m. All Light Up A Life donors are welcome to attend this special event, and then come inside to view individual ornaments created for each person remembered or honored. The ornaments will be on display at ALMH from Dec. 1 through Jan. 5.

Today, the Abraham Lincoln Healthcare Foundation salutes the individuals whose names were submitted to ALHF before Nov. 13.

All names received between Nov. 14 and Nov. 20 will appear in this space next Wednesday. All Light Up A Life gifts must be submitted no later than Friday, Dec. 18, to be included in a weekly printed salute.
