Simpson-Baker

[October 08, 2009] Mr. and Mrs. Lon Simpson are proud to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter Katie Lynn to Kenneth Russell "KR" Baker. His parents are Larry Baker of Sullivan and Yvonne Barrett of Minooka.

The wedding will be Oct. 24 at the Funk's Grove Chapel, McLean.

Katie is a graduate of Lincoln Community High School and attended Western Illinois University in Macomb.

KR attended Sullivan High School and graduated from Lincoln's Challenge. He served in the U.S. Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Katie is employed in Springfield at the Day by Day Calendar store, and KR is employed at International Paper in Lincoln.

They make their home in Lincoln.
